Inconel 925 metal is a nickel chromium alloy offering a high level of resistance to numerous corrosive substances and elements.  When subjected to high temperatures, this alloy will not surrender to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking or general oxidation.  Inconel 925 metal is also resistant to high purity water corrosion and caustic corrosion.

With this alloy’s ability to stand up against corrosion in a variety of forms it is the perfect metal to use for chemical processing equipment and furnace parts.  It is used in nuclear engineering and the food industry due to its ability to maintain structural integrity in applications that would permanent damage and distorn other metals or alloys.
