Inconel 660A plate is a nonmagnetic nickel-chromium alloy with properties that include high temperature strength comparable to 18-8 alloys and high resistance to organic and inorganic corrosives. Alloy 660A plate performs well in temperatures ranging from cryogenic up to 2000°F. It exhibits excellent resistance to alkaline solutions and chloride-ion stress cracking due to its high nickel content and high resistance to sulfur compounds due to its chromium content. Inconel® 660A plate is also resistant to steam, steam/air mixtures and carbon dioxide. It has good workability and is weldable.
